A. Submit Required Documents: All admission documents must be received before a decision can be rendered. All required documents can be viewed under Domestic Admission or International Admission. Unless otherwise noted, electronic submission (i.e. via Common App, an eTranscript system etc.) of documents is preferred. All non FTIC applicants may submit their transcripts electronically, if the college/university has an e-Transcript system. To be admitted into the Department of Art, applicants must present a combined SAT score of 910 and a portfolio containing twelve digital images of original work. (See Portfolio Requirements Below)*Art History students may submit copies of graded research papers. Portfolios should be addressed to the Chairperson of the Department of Art and must contain sufficient stamps for return postage.In addition, the following items may be considered in determining eligibility for admission:- High school grade point average of 2.0 minimum (equivalent to the grade of C)- Interview and/or completed questionnaire- A written statement of purpose- Letters of recommendationA score of 90 on the Internet based (IBT) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for applicants whose native language is not English. Only official reports from ETS will be accepted. Note: in lieu of the TOEFL (if not offered in your country), applicants may submit results from IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall score of a 6.5.
